About Stop 13@31

Stop 13@31 has evolved since Michael & Jason started planning a cafe for the old hairdressers shop at 31 Kennedy Terrace.

Stop 13 is in fact the number of the bus stop right outside the door (on route 377), and in paying homage to the old tramway system that wound its way through the area, Stop 13@31 Kennedy Terrace was born.

Michaels Experience

Michael has spent the last 30 years in the hospitality industry including running hotels all over Queensland and most recently as the Food & Beverage Manager at Stamford Hotels.

His experience and knowledge are second to none, whilst his Barista skills are at the top of the league in anyone's language - and he has also been known to step into the kitchen and whip up some gorgeous yummies (lemon butter and pineapple jam!)

Jasons Experience

Jason has been cheffing for several years, working in a variety of roles and locations across Brisbane from catering to high-end restaurants and everything inbetween.

His dedication to providing quality and satisfying meals is at the forefront of the Stop13 mantra, which itself has has been rewarded with some top editorials in major publications. The philosophy that consistently affordable and simple quality is best, drives the food side of our small cafe, and gives the neighbourhood a place to eat, drink and relax.
